Tributes Pour In for Rob and Michele Reiner as Medical Examiner's Findings Are Sealed.

Well beyond 14 days after the tragic deaths of esteemed filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Reiner, the entertainment community persist in remembering the duo.

‘Life is Pain Without You’: Cary Elwes Pays Tribute to His Director

Posting on social media, actor Cary Elwes, who starred in Reiner's beloved 1987 film *The Princess Bride*, mentioned he just recently felt prepared to share openly about his profound loss.

"Enough time has passed that I can at last articulate my loss into words," wrote Elwes, noting that his first meeting with Reiner made him fall in love. "Once we started passing more hours together I realized this was someone I longed to have in my life."

The actor posted behind-the-scenes footage from the film, remarking that he cannot recall "a single day without joy".

"The film is about affection, allegiance and giving. Principles that Rob cherished deeply. This is one of the many reasons he was the best person to helm it," Elwes expressed.

He also paid tribute Michele Reiner, noting: "Claiming that they were a great team would be an oversimplification. My heart still aches every time I remember you." He ended with a phrase from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but existence is agony without you."

Martin Scorsese Remembers a Fellow Artist

In a different essay, revered director Martin Scorsese also honored Reiner, whom he originally knew in the 1970s.

"Right away, I loved hanging out with Rob. We had a natural affinity for each other. He was hilarious and sometimes bitingly funny, but he was never the kind of guy who would take over the room," Scorsese wrote.

Scorsese highlighted Reiner's acting part in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, embodying the father of the protagonist.

"His improvisation skills with the best. He was a virtuoso at comedy, he worked seamlessly with the cast, and he comprehended the human predicament of his character," Scorsese added.

Legal Developments: Autopsy Reports Restricted

Recently, a Los Angeles court official decided to block the publication of the Reiners' medical examiner's reports, following a petition from the Los Angeles Police Department.

A legal directive placed a embargo on the investigation to prohibit the public release of "any investigative information, documents, files or images" connected to the probe.

The relevant authority had previously confirmed their deaths were the result of murder, with a public database citing the cause as "multiple sharp force injuries".

Fallout and Commentary

Following the killings, public individuals expressed different reactions.

Former President Donald Trump wrote on the matter, making controversial statements that were widely condemned by several individuals.

Podcaster Joe Rogan lent his voice to the critics recently. Speaking on his podcast, Rogan described the statements as "disturbing" and remarked they revealed a worrisome lack of empathy.

Rogan ended by proposing that an associate ought to have stepped in when the choice to weigh in on the tragedy was made.
